Nokia recently announced four upcoming C series mobile phones, two of which support two SIM cards. These are the Nokia C1-00, C1-02, C1-01, and C2-00 models.
The Nokia C1-00 (EUR30) will feature a 2-in-1 double SIM solution, where the user can choose which SIM card to use by a simple long-press of a key. The C1-00 will also have an estimated standby battery time of up to six weeks. Other features are a flashlight, color screen, and FM radio.
The Nokia C2-00 (EUR45) will feature a dual SIM / dual standby solution, letting the user have two mobile accounts active, as long as the phone is turned on. The second SIM card will also be “hot-swappable”, meaning the user can remove and/or insert a SIM card on the second slot without having to turn the phone off. Other features are VGA camera, FM radio with recording, music player, and micro-SD card expansion slot (up to 32GB), Bluetooth v2.0, and GPRS.
The Nokia C1-02 (EUR35) and C1-01 (EUR39) are both single-SIM products, but will feature FM radio with recording, music player, and micro-SD card expansion slot (up to 32GB), Bluetooth v2.0, and GPRS. In addition, the C1-01 will also have a built-in VGA camera for taking photos and videos.
